What stands out

Read-only is the norm for planning tools. Datarails, Vena and Anaplan's official connectors are read-only today. Cube and Pigment allow write-back, but only behind an explicit permission or per-user "advanced mode".
ERP is ahead of FP&A on write access. NetSuite and QuickBooks connectors can create and update records — useful, and a reason to scope roles tightly.
"Included" rarely means free. Datarails' own docs disagree with each other on whether its connector is paid; Cube bills per call in AI credits; Copilot Studio and Databricks usage carry their own costs.
Grok is the gap. No finance vendor in this table documents Grok yet. Grok supports custom MCP connectors, so many of these servers may work, but we only mark pairings we can source.

Methodology

We read the vendor's own documentation (help center, developer docs, release notes) and the assistant maker's directory or help pages. A pairing is "Official" only if one of them documents it. Third-party blog posts can prompt a re-check but never count as a source. Cells are re-verified at least monthly; the date in each cell is the last time we confirmed it. Full methodology.
